We would recommend against this in almost all cases. It is unlikely that your existing system will be able to interlink with new alarms, which is a requirement of new Scottish Government regulations.
We install market-leading reliable Aico alarms. Our standalone systems are interlinked with RadioLINK modules in the alarms. These will not interlink with other kinds of alarms. We recommend an installation of a full new system of alarms for your peace of mind.
If you have a fully compliant system and are adding an extension to your property, we will install a hard-wired alarm in that extension for £135. Otherwise, we can upgrade your full system to comply and issue certifications.
